Our Team

Jaipur Palace India Travel Films
Here is our perfect team – Anna (the little one) and me, Svetlana

Anna is my daughter and an excellent traveller. She is the most curious person I have ever met. It’s a pleasure to watch her enthusiasm at discovering this world.

Not every day of our journey was easy and careless– there were difficult days. But Anna never complained. She ate what was served on the table, played with things that were at her hand, made friends with children whose language she couldn’t understand… and she did it happily!

Traveling with children can be challenging, but what is life without a challenge? Our trip around the World was the best possible mother-daughter trip ever and the best time in our life yet!  Both of us have grown up a lot!

Anna, Asia and Me. 250 Days on the Road. Part 1

A travel documentary film by Anna Becker and Svetlana Bogdanova

Anna, Asia and Ich. 250 Days on the Road. Part 1
(Production 2019, duration – 77 Min.)

I left behind our comfortable lifestyle in Berlin to try a different life. I no longer wanted to live according to the schedule that others determined for me, did not want to meet social standards and meet other people’s expectations. I wanted to experience a feeling of absolute freedom and see how I would manage this freedom. I did not plan anything in advance and did not know where and how much time we would be on the way. As a result, Anna and I spent 250 days in different parts of Southeast Asia. This was one of the most significant periods in our life. For each of us individually and for the two of us as a team, as a family.

Saudi Arabia: let's sleep in the desert

A travel documentary film by Anna Becker and Svetlana Bogdanova

Saudi Arabia: let's sleep in the desert
(Production 2023, duration – 50 Min.)

Our journey to Saudi Arabia was not planned; it simply happened by chance. Saudi Arabia is anything but touristy and was closed to tourists until recently. But after so many years of travel experience, we knew that we could handle it in Saudi Arabia and find it exciting and fun. Anna's idea was to sleep in the desert. Why not? But we travel with only hand luggage and have no camping equipment, and of course, no tent.

In this film, we show you the mysterious country and what Saudi Arabia really looks like. In doing so, our expectations didn't quite align with reality, and some of my prejudices had to be let go!

What the audience is saying about our documentary film "Anna, Asia and Me".

Heike

The most frequently asked questions

How much a trip around the world costs?

If you are planing a trip around the world and know how to handle your finances carefully, your trip can be a real saving! For example in our case - a month of travel costs me (for both of us) only 1/3 of the budget that we needed each month for our settled life in Berlin!

How homeschooling works on travel?

Anna is a homeschooler for more then 4 years now. She has a freedom to learn what she wants. All her learning is "built" around her interests and hobbies. She decides how long she is going to learn and when. She also decides when she has "school" and when the "weekend". This way she stays motivated.

What are our most beautiful travel experiences?

The most of the best experiences were related to people! We met such great people along the way! The moments with Anna were great, when we achieved something that we previously thought was impossible. Our adventures and shared growth!
